چکیده
Abstract The ExoMars 2022 integration facility has been built at the Thales Alenia Space Italy in Turin. includes a GBT (Glove Box Train), that is an ISO3 class facility, totally aseptic and characterized by controlled airborne molecular organic contamination. This new provides environment strictly for what concerns cleanliness contamination, specifically conceived to perform AIT of Ultra Clean Zone (UCZ) Rover Analytical Laboratory Drawer. Indeed, standard methods as per ECSS-Q-ST-70-05C ECSS-Q-ST-70-50C are not suitable monitoring Flight H/W. required be monitored terms contamination (AMC) on basis ISO 14644-8. maximum levels allowable flight H/W after accelerated CO 2 snow cleaning end activities one order magnitude less than detection limit FT-IR techniques For these reasons dedicated method set up monitoring. paper shows development Thermal Desoprtion-Gas Cromatography/Mass Spectrometer (TD-GC/MS) extremely low both air samples witnesses representative H/W, providing also most recent results obtained frame UCZ QM FM Campaign.

Autonomous science for an ExoMars Rover-like mission
In common with other Mars exploration missions, human supervision of Europe's ExoMars Rover will be mostly indirect via orbital relay spacecraft and thus far from immediate. The gap between issuing commands and witnessing the results of the consequent rover actions will typically be on the order of several hours or even sols. In addition, it will not be possible to observe the external environm...
متن کاملAtmospheric modelling for NOMAD-UVIS on board the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter mission
The Ultraviolet and Visible Spectrometer (UVIS) instrument development process requires the construction of an atmospheric model to provide synthetic UV transmission spectra. We discuss the requirements of the model to enable observational limits to be found, and the potential for certain atmospheric parameters to be further constrained.

BACKGROUND The ExoMars 2016 mission, consisting of the Trace Gas Orbiter and the Schiaparelli lander, was launched on March 14 2016 from Baikonur, Kazakhstan and reached its destination in October 2016. The Schiaparelli lander was subject to strict requirements for microbial cleanliness according to the obligatory planetary protection policy. To reach the required cleanliness, the ExoMars 2016 ...
متن کاملRaman spectroscopic analysis of geological and biogeological specimens of relevance to the ExoMars mission.
A novel miniaturized Raman spectrometer is scheduled to fly as part of the analytical instrumentation package on an ESA remote robotic lander in the ESA/Roscosmos ExoMars mission to search for evidence for extant or extinct life on Mars in 2018. The Raman spectrometer will be part of the first-pass analytical stage of the sampling procedure, following detailed surface examination by the PanCam ...
